So totally agree! I’d rather be a large person who is happy (which I have been many a time), than a skinny person who’s always miserable XD
Plus, respecting and liking yourself is the cornerstone of health I think – how else would you find the energy to try and keep your body and mind in the best shape you can?
I don’t know if this healthy or unhealthy but I find that what helps me to remember that I am important is other people. When you have even one person (friend or family member) who can tell you that you’re on the right track, or a worthwhile person, then that is what inspires me to do the best I can. If left in too much of a vacuum then I tend to start questioning myself a little too much ^^;
Totally agree. Being slimmer doesn’t make you a better or even happier person, the way you look is not a reason to hate yourself. :)
